Samrat provides you with very less options. However things here are at cheap price. Less options compared to others. Some of them are good and some are not. Not so good but not too bad either.
It is kind of misnomer as it is more of a grocery shop which also sells some cakes, pastries and other bakery items. Mostly packed food items, juices and cold drinks are available. Prices are reasonable.
Smarat bakers is an old bakery shop, with all the kitchen grocery material, some decent cakes pastries and patties. They also supply 20l water bottles to home. But nothing more special.
A very affordable place, but with very less options to choose from and other bakeries also present in the nearby surroundings, this place is not worth it.You only go to this place when you are low on cash and wish to have pastries.
Samrat Bakers is right in front of the lift of G.T.B Metro and displays a lot of bakery items which is majorly inclusive of packed cookies. They also sell cakes and pastries at a very low price. I had purchased 4 pastries long back and never re-visited this place for bakery items. It was very stale and not at all eatable with excessive cream and coarse bread. Alongside runs Samrat Restaurant which is claimed to be a good one. But after the experience of the pastries I still haven’t got the courage of trying out the restaurant. thegreystory.wordpress.com
As from the name, it says bakers, they don’t really have much options for the customers to choose from. What I noticed were few cakes, pastries, dhokla and patty. The pastry wasn’t so delectable as I was expecting but the dhokla was very soft and juicy. The staff was courteous enough. If I go there again it would only be for the dhokla or getting Nachos as its nearby.This place is right next to gate number two of GTB Nagar metro.
