Very few know about this hidden gem in karol bagh, been coming here for over 2 decades and i hate the fact that no one even talk about the place. They specialize in keema pranathas and other veg parathanas.I always get keema prantha they serve it with keema gravy which is drenched in exotic spices and ghee.I would go on for hours how the prantha tastes like. The thickness and the way they fill the keema in every corner of it is just amazing. If you are cranky about hygiene then you would avoid the place as it set up as the classic outdoor tandoors.I would definitely recommend this place.Food-4/5VFM-4/5Ambience-2/5Service-4/5Staff-4/5
A Place unknown to many of you but they provide you with the best of naan in Karol Bagh.I tried paaner naan which they serve with Chhole and Raita and I also tried Keema Naan which they serve with Keema and Kaleji Sabzi and it taste soo delicious.
I have been visiting this place since 1995! Well not exactly this same place as they were previously located in a different and smaller outlet in Karol Bagh, and they have a bigger place now, however, I meant the same owner ! Every time I go to Karol Bagh I have to go to Maame di hatti and have their paneer kulchas ! They’re the best paneer kulchas I have had till date and the taste hasn’t changed since 1995! They serve the freshly made paneer kulchas with a cube of butter accompanied with a chana curry on the side, along with raita and salad. I have always asked for extra butter as the taste only enhances when the kulcha is properly soaked in butter ! Being a non vegetarian punjabi who never eats vegetarian food outside, I have this one exception where the paneer kulchas call me every time I have visited Karol Bagh. My parents also have their keema kulchas that is served with a keema curry on the side, along with raita and salad. The keema curry necessarily contains a piece of liver and I’m the lucky youngest daughter who gets to have the liver that comes along with it (pampered by my parents!) The kulchas are freshly made in front of you. Yes, it’s a small joint and the infrastructure may not be compared to the high posh joints one generally goes to. However , it is kept clean, the staff is courteous, the food is hygienic ( I have a sensitive stomach and I have never fallen ill after eating from this outlet ). I almost forgot to mention, you can always ask for more curry, raita and salad while devouring the delicious kulchas ! And of course extra cubes of butter ! Recommended: you must go for the paneer and keema kulchas ! And don’t forget to take an extra cube of butter !
