Migrants from Syria bringing in their authentic flavor to India and trying to make it big here! Its truly a delight for a Hommus and Shawarma lover like me. Also, do try their dips, desserts, biscuits and cakes. Just a tip – Do get aquainted by their traditional Syrian names first.. or just ask the Karol bagh shop owner – Gabriel – I hope I spelt it correctly.Karol bagh restaurant is small and you will probably be the only Indian sitting there among many International tourists/migrants alike. Works for me! Hopefully will for you as well.. Support these guys!
I order same restaurant julaina branch they have good taste but Karol Bagh branch is not good food taste totally different kindly check quality of meat
A very clean restaurant for authentic Syrian and Arabic food. Very small for dine in, only 3-4 persons can sit at a time, but they do have Zomato delivery option. The best shawarma I had in Delhi, and it’s worth Rs. 150.Mutton Biryani which costs Rs. 450 is not that worth, but the mutton is cooked to perfection and is not spicy. So if you like mutton pieces without much masala it’s good, for others it might taste a bit rare.
Ordered Shawarma meal, it came with Shawarma rolls, French fries, Humus, mayonnaise and salad. Costed me Rs. 400. It is authentic syrian shop with Syrian and arabic dishes, the chefs here are Syrian. You will meet here Syrian people who used to come here.Quality of Shawarma was good. However, French fries were not good.I also noticed a very tiny particle of metal which luckily came to my teeth before swallowing it, as I chew the food properly.I also ordered Syrian Coffee which is also good. But for seating its a small shop having less space. Also, my table was seated in front of spit, so it was too hot inside. Hospitability is also not that well. But if you want to order from home, definitely its tge best shop as it is economic. So, giving 3 stars.
