Dirt cheap restaurant. Serves good fish and egg- curry, chapatis are very soft. Not a family place though, more for students, for regular cheap dine-out. The staff is courteous. You get 8 chapatis/ and rice, a plate of tasty fish-curry with two big pieces (choice of gravy available), a so called salad, one sabzi and daal in just 85-90 INR. It can’t get any more affordable for students.

Sumona is a low cost eating point inside Katwaria Sarai which serves Bengali food. If you are looking for a peaceful dine out with family, this is not your place. This is a place for those students ts and bachelor’s who wants to enjoy a cheap non veg meal.I have tried chicken thali and fish thali. It contains either fish masala or chicken curry with few Roti’s and rice. A serving of dal and sabji each accompanies it. There are many other places to taste chicken, but this was a sole eatery to try fish with good taste.I would happily recomend this place for fish thali.
