Had heard a lot about this place and I went in for a Nepali lunch on Saturday afternoon. To be fair, you cannot call it lunch as it was almost early evening and we focussed on things like aloo sandeko, wai wai sandeko and a variety of momos. Absolutely loved everything except the spinach and cheese momos. Fell in love with the pork and chicken ones and would go back just for them. Really liked the aloo sandeko as well – nicely spiced, it went really well with the Nepali rice beer that they serve. P.S – Don’t think of Nepali rice beer as a normal beer. Its white in colour, served chilled but can be an acquired taste.Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
I ordered pork Assamese thali and paid Rs 60 for extra baingan fry. Taste wise the food tasted average, nothing outstanding . Too much potatoes in the thali, there’s pork gravy with potato, some potato veg and aloo pitka. So unless you are a potato fan, rather order something else. Another reason for the bad/avg rating is I felt I was ripped off, I paid Rs 60 for extra baingan fry, but all I got was 4 really thin slices of baingan. One can buy almost a kg of brinjal for that money, so I felt that was way overpriced.
I had been here just recently, Ordered some pork fries and chicken choila. Lets start with the good part. The ambience is nice, cool and comforting the staff were friendly and polite BUTPork fries was absolute rubbish, the meat quality was very rubbery instead of juicy, besan deke kon fry karta hai?. Chicken choila, thought the presentation was good but it was LUKE WARM. It tasted more of a chicken salad instead of choila.and lastly Chang, it tasted like sweetened lassi, the fermentation was poor and there was no taste of rice extracts. I am giving you a 2 star because of the ambience, the food presentation and only because of your hospitality.
This is so pretty good nepali restaurant. Been here once and got stuff home delivered twice. Their ambience is pretty good they. They ve perfected well on their nepali dishes such as pork with gundruk etc. So no compaints their. The pork they serve is also well cooked and fresh. I’d recommend u try this place for authentic nepali food. Ask the waiter wat the nepali dishes are.
The food was pathetic. The jhol momos were average and the remaining dishes like Nepali thali, fish curry and sadeko aloo had such bad taste. I have visited almost all Nepali places but this was really really bad ,not exaggerating.
