The food was good although there is a very limited choice available which is understandable as this is just a lounge. However the size of the coffee cup is so small that one can’t help but question the wisdom of the hotel management. Where in the world in a five star have they seen a coffee cup of this size that also with almost quarter of it comprising of froth. This size may be acceptable when one is having a quick cup of coffee after breakfast but not when some one is specially ordering for coffee paying as much for it as any other listed beverage. Management- if you ever read this review, please use a proper coffee mug to serve coffee.

This is a lounge on the ground floor of Taj Mahal hotel at New Delhi. It is a place where you can sit and sip a cup of coffee/tea alone or choose as a venue for business or personal meeting close to centre of Lutyen’s Delhi. It is relaxed place so don’t expect fast service though since I needed to leave for my next meeting they did serve my club sandwich and processed my bill thereafter reasonably quickly. The setting of the hotel and restaurant is nice, bright, spacious, with a lot of greenery outside its large windows on one side, adding to its ambience.
Its always uplifting being at Emperor’s Lounge. I never miss their peach and apricot melange ice tea. Quick bites are all good and top it all they have perfect ambience ❤️❤️
Have been a regular to this place. Especially whenever I had any occasion at my place, with out any doubt my choice of cake was from this place. The taste, texture I mean the right balance of each and every component in that cake was just to perfection. They customised it to my likings and preferences but last time when I ordered cake for my wife’s birthday, it was a let down. It was not what I had asked for/ imagined despite placing a weeks advance order. Though the taste was hearty one could feel each and every ingredient that went into it. Though I didn’t had a wow experience last time I would still recommend this place for everyone to try their cakes atleast once especially the Tiramisu cake.
Tomato bosil soup. Wonderful sour to drink in winter. Will have to go down on the rates to attract more crowd. Wonderful view. Can be taken with the family.
