This place is only a one time visit, go with your family, enjoy some quality time, enjoy the view from resturant and that’s it. Quality of food is okay( don’t expect too much), definitely food is not worth the price but it makes up for it with the unique concept. Don’t order soft drinks as they will charge 210rs for a can of coke on which the mrp is written 35rs and i guess you cannot sell a product more than it’s mrp right? Overall i would say go for a visit, order 1 or 2 snacks or dal makhni with garlic naan and take your time. Don’t order too much food as it is not worth the price. I tried dal makhni, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, missi roti, butter naan, chilli potato, mushrooms and 2 more snacks with 4 cans of coke and the bill was around 6500. Only thing i would recommend is dal makhni and naan.
The USP of the restaurant becomes ‘thanda’ after you reach there. It doesn’t seem like it’s revolving as it’s too slow for you to stand for 5 minutes and realise that the view has changed. The food however, was yum, especially the crunchy buttery naans, tandoori roti and missi roti.
Hey friends, visited the iconic revolving restaraunt in delhi, The Parikrama, located in the heart of the city, connaught place. We have been hearing this name since our childhood and all of the delhites must have been here atleast once. This place is exactly the same since decades. I ordered a tomato soup and golden fried baby corn to start with. The soup was absolutely perfect in all terms and the baby corn was also fresh and very well cooked. In the main course i ordered a dal makhni with pudina parantha and a stuffed kulcha. The dal makhni was ok types and the breads were fine. The main course needs some improvement. Had already planned to have original hot chocolate fudge from Nirulas so skippped the deserts.Ambience 4/5Food 3.5/5 ( needs improvement )Pricing 4/5Staff 4/5Service 4/5Quantity 4/5All in all, must visit once as its an iconic place !!
Parikrama has been part of Delhi’s Food Scenes for over a decade now. The concept of revolving restaurant with a view like this remains something not any other place have. The staff is really courteous.Everything comes down to food in the end. We ordered for Amritsari Fish Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Dal Maharani and Dhaba Chicken with Rotis. Considering it’s a fine dine the food was not at all presentable. The Daal Maharani was under cooked and reminded us of a regular dal we have at home everyday. The Dhaba Chicken was a complete let down. The food was bland.Only thing edible was the Amritsari Fish. It’s high time the outlet works on their menu, presentation and definitely the taste of the food. citychroniclesbyp.wordpress.com
I visited this place come my brother’s birthday. This place seems quite nice though there was a long waiting they have a small room to manage it with reception. This restaurant is on 24th floor and will give you a view of whole Delhi. The staff is courteous and the service is quick. The food is not so good as per my expectations. We ordered dal makhani, paneer Lababdar and butter naan. Which all tasted nice. The only reason of giving a 3 start rating is the quantity of the food which was not justified at the price and is needed to be increased. The staff was not nearby sometimes so we need to find the person to order something more or to ask for water. Moreover the place was a little bit conjusted which is a problem.Overall experience was nice and it is worthy to visit it once.
This place was in my list since long. And finally I explored this restaurant which as can be inferred from the name that it revolves. This restaurant is located on the 24th floor and offers great view from Red Fort to Rashtrapati Bhawan to Jama Masjid to New Delhi Railway Station to National Museum to Bangla Sahib and ofcourse the Connaught Place. The usp of this restaurant is its ambience, great view and that it revolves. It takes almost around an hour to complete one circle. The food is also good but bit overpriced. Tandoori Khazana (platter -veg) was really nice. The staff was courteous. If you want to experience the view of the capital city then you should definitely visit this place.
