A Vietnamese meal full of Buffalo meat, Pork, prawns, veggies and more at the Vietnam Embassy Delhi Canteen located behind the Vietnam Embassy.Their main dish is Pho – soul bowls, where noodles, veggies, meat etc are served in a soupy bowl, kind of thukpa, quite bland in taste, served with some pickled chillies access garlic on the side, one needs an acquired taste for such food, but surely an one time experience. I love such food so I enjoyed my meal and I was with my cousin Sandip Mukherji who narrated a lot of US-NAM stories which made the lunch even more interesting. We were 2 people, ordered 2 pho bowls, pork spring rolls, veg Vietnamese rolls, a Coke and paid Rs.750 for all.Attaching the menu too for reference.The place is really small and frequented by foreigners from various Embassy’s around and service is average. They do serve kingfisher beer too.Only open on Wednesdays and Fridays for lunch between 12-3pm. livelikejoy.wordpress.com
