One of the oldest places in Kucha Gasi Ram. Brijwasi Restaurant serves the typical Old Delhi food full of flavour (and loads of oil too). This food-joint serves delicious vegetarian delicacies in a place famous its non-veg eateries. Their Matar Paneer, Dal Fry, Chole, Pulao, Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer are some of the most famed dishes. All the dishes here have that unique flavor that is fond in a typical road-side dhaba. The food tastes really great. Visit this place if you are in a mood for some tasty vegetarian food in Old Delhi.
Only veg food is served over here. Quality and quantity of food is quite good. Cost is very much economical. It’s located in very congested and compact labyrinth streets of chandani chowk. Seating arrangement are on the above floors. It’s a must try for vegetarians.
Simple sober and homely food blessed with genuineness of desi ghee plus hospitality in true approach. I would request you kindly visit this outlet to give break from masalas and all
The taste of the food is superb. And their way of serving is also very good. everything is in budget there. Family restaurant. Need some renovation.
A small cozy place in the lanes of old Delhi. This is located opposite to Xardus Gym. This place serves pure vegetarian food.We hadPaneer punjabi : one of their famous dish. It was the best thing that has happened to paneer in a long time. It was really good. Creamy and full of flavours and spicy.Dal Makhani : the dal was loaded with ton of butter and tasted amazing. It had a different taste to it which I personally loved. We had shahi paneer as well it was also good…Overall a nice restaurant that serves delicious vegetarian food prepared in a hygienic way.Do try this if you are nearby
very homely feeling it’s a small place which is less crowded I mean less number of people are there I took for delivery Chole rice and puri the white chana or chole were hot and well prepared rice were tender and puri was pressed
If you live away from home and crave for that mother made homely flavours and meals, you have come to the right place. Brijwasi is one of the oldest and most famous “vaishno (veg)” restaurants of old delhi. Their system is very simple, they serve you around 5-6 dishes in a platter, with limited quantity but unlimited refills (however, no sharing is allowed). The only problem is that it’s overly veg so much so that you will not even get any onion or garlic here. The sitting is quite comfortable but not lavish. The location is just on the Fatehpuri- Lal Quilla road 10 minutes walking from Chandni Chowk Metro Station!!
