We had Dal Makhani, Kadhai Paneer, Boondi Raita, and two paranthas. The Dal was tasteless, Paneer too had too much of oil and almost no flavour. The Raita was runny and full of clumps of masala. I don’t think I will visit again after this experience. I don’t advice people to do so either. There are much better places.
This was my second visit to this restaurant which is in front of Giani’s Faluda. The Dal Makhni with the flavour of ghee and cumins seeds tadka on the top was the best along with special thier aaloo pyaaz naan and a must try for every north Indian food lover, Kadhai Paneer on the other side was not that good.
Food is ok, but hygiene is the biggest issue of this place. They do not take care of hygiene at all. Plates were dirty, chairs were shabby, table was not properly clean. We had to ask to get clean plates and spoons, did not felt eating at all after seeing the issue.
I have had takeaways from this place amole number of times. This is a dhaba situated in the old Delhi. The food is good and is very reasonable. The naans and the sabzis are very well prepared.
