So, i visited Jama masjid for the very first time. With the help of some bloggers and google map, went to this place. This was my first stop in jama masjid. Lalu kababee is a very old shop, with small place and not that enough sitting arrangement. So, i ordered the Kabab Full plate. I was not aware which kabab it is, Bade ke or chote ke. They served me full plate with some ghee, chutney and Onion. For the very first Bite, it was not my taste. Little different, less spicy and I didn’t liked first bite at all.Kabab was served with rumali roti, roti was very soft and fresh.I tried more bites with rumali roti and liked it little but not loved it at all. According to me, this is one time try place for me.Kabab : Fresh, Hot , not that spicy and served with ghee.Rumali roti : Soft and fresh.Ambience : 3 ⭐️Location : 2 ⭐️Taste : 3.5 ⭐️Price : 5 ⭐️(Rs. 120/- for full plate bade ke kabab, rumali roti complimentary)
This outlet is 75 years old and currently 2nd generation is running the business now.Until the day I tried these soft and well grilled kebabs, I was a fan of the succulent kebabs from Qureshi. But this place has made me their regular customer now. These amazing seekh kebabs are spiced decently with finer texture of minced chicken(mutton and buff kebabs also available). They are so nicely grilled giving it a good texture on the outside and juicy and soft from the inside. The kebabs are then thrown into their chutney and a pool made of butter giving it a creamy texture and freshness from mint and yogurt chutney. While in Jama Masjid, we would strongly recommend you to try this too other than Qureshi’s.Price: Rs 70 for two kebabs.
