This is a very old & famous shop in Chandni Chowk. It serves poori cholle & aloo ki sabzi along with pickles and lassi. It also offers varieties in sweets. It opens at 9am which I think is a laid back point as at around 9 the roads in Chandni Chowk gets too crowded. So it is best to go on Sunday. very bad customer experience. staff is not good. first told us they can serve puri chole. after waiting for almost 30 minutes told us that food got over and you can leave. not respectful at all. and owners were completely negligent of this.
The sweets were very nice and fresh, loved the gajar Ka Halwa and gujiya, they had something which was an extended version of jalebi which was also super crispy and yummy.must try if you are in Chandni chowk area Prateek Deka .
This is a sweet shop in chandni chowk which is very old. Had poori and sabzi there and lassi with it. You will love the poori and sabzi although the price is on little higher side.Taste-3Ambience-3Service-3
Just did today’s breakfast from this place and I am full, thanks to the good portion size of poori cholle aalo.Been to almost all outlets of Meghraj now.This one has sitting of 20 people.Good service – enjoy one poori at a time.They also deal in dry fruits and Desi sweets.Pricing is economical too.
Very old and famous sweets shop located near Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi. Very neat and clean atmosphere. My fauvorite sweets are Karachi Halwa and Sohan Halwa. Chole bhature also very tasty and finally Kesar Badam Lassi was nice. Service is fast and decent, food quality is good. Must visit again.
