Rabdi paratha & kaju paratha are a must
I went home for New year’s and instantly after landing I had cravings for Chandani Chowk paranthas.I ordered for 4 different types ( kaju, mixed, rabri, khoya) of paranthas and all were delicious. These paranthas were served with aloo sabzi, khadu, green chutney and a sweet chutney with pieces of banana in it. Each plate has 2 paranthas which can easily serve 1 person.Out of all the 4, I really like kaju parantha the most. It was very rich and you can easily distinguish the taste. Rabri parantha was sweet and when eaten with sabzi, it tasted really amazing.I highly recommend for everyone visiting or living in Delhi to try the authentic Chandani Chowk Paranthas.
Well have tried almost all the places of this street , it seems price and taste are almost similar , this time I had paneer , chilli, papad, nimbu, mix veg, Purina, Gobi , and rabri paranthe , all of them were decent, we even had the lassi which they serve from there opp shop. Nice place to visit.
What I ate? – Rabri Paratha, Mixed Paratha, Gobi Paratha, Aaloo Paratha, Mirch Paratha. This shop is run by the 6th generation and one kf the oldest shops in Parathe wali gali.I was excited to try the parathas as they serve a wide variety of parathas which include parathas of potato, paneer, cauliflower, tomato, chilli, cashewnuts, rabri etc. They serve the parathas with tamarind chutney (इमली चटनी), coriander chutney (धनिया चटनी), aalo matar, and pumpkin vegetable (कोहड़ा की सब्जी)Taste was good.✔
Paranthe wali gali is mostly famous for this shop. The shop has wide variety of paranthas to choose from. You name it they have it!! Mirchi parantha, mix parantha, gobhi parantha and rabri parantha were the ones which we tried. My favourite was the rabri parantha. They serve it with sabzi and chutneys. Paranthas were good but we’re fried so very oily. Not for the ones who don’t like oily food at all.
Ambience – 6.0Food – 9.0Service – 8.0Value for money – 7.5Minimum you have to order 2 paratha. This shop is in the famous parathe wali gali. We ordered kaju paratha and mirchi ki paratha. Both of them were equally good. This place is always crowded and seating facility is very poor.
