  First shop in a lane opposite to the jama masjid main gate,A place where you will find making of hot kamiri rotis and served fresh..Must try mutton nihari, best place to have mutton nihari in the jama masjid.Staff is not quite friendly but you you are here in jama masjid for the mouth watering taste not for the staff, simple..!

  Excellent location, on the road opposite to the gate # 1 of the Jama Masjid. The very first eatery on the right and the famous Karim’s on the left of the road. I was surprised that it was not listed on Zomato and got it listed. Although, one can find it on Google search with all details.Not a fancy place and they serve beef too. However, the chicken and mutton is damn good and light on the pocket. Typical traditional place and ambiance. The traditional utensils with the food inside and the Tandoor being constantly manned by skilled hands.The ground floor is a bit rudimentary and perhaps serves regulars and locals. They guided me to a mezzanine floor more like a deck or half floor and there’s a good view of the ground floor and the road outside from there. Liked it.I had mutton quorma and tandoori rotis and a thums up in a glass bottle. The quorma was delicious although they could improve on the meat quality a bit perhaps. The gravy was rich and oily as expected and the rotis just right. No frills meal, great on taste. Recommend and will return.
