Veda is one of the most beautiful restuarant i have ever visited. Searching for a good place to have dinner ,we have ended up in Veda. Firstly i would like to talk about the ambiance of the place, the place is built well planned and with fine architecture. The decorations for the place is hand picked to give unquie and alluring look to this place. It creates a perfect vibe for an romantic dinner, the lighting of the place is pleasant and gives you calmness. A lot of mirrors are placed in the restaurant to give in royal look and its very beautiful. When it comes to food ,we have ordered Panner masala dish, Raita & Assorted basket. All the dishes were very yummy and crafted to perfection. It was tasty ,but the quantity was less compared to the cost of it. Even though it has very beautiful ambiance and offers very good standard food ,the dishes are over priced compared to the other restaurants. Over all it was a good experience.Food: 4/5Ambiance: 5/5Service: 4/5VFM:3/5
Rating 3.5 Veda offers delectable contemporary Indian dishes and a uniquely enchanting ambience. The rich red hue, antique lamps, scented candles and the mesmerising decor imparts a royal vibe that will stay with you long after your dining experience. What we had :1. Apricot Malai Kofta : 5/5. One of the best Malai Koftas I’ve had till date (second only to Indus Flavour’s Mango Malai Kofta). The thick, creamy and mildly sweet gravy along with the absolutely delicious Malai koftas stuffed with nuts and bits of apricots was incredible. Priced at ₹599, it is expensive but they serve 4 big pieces of koftas which makes it totally worth it.2. Bread Basket : 4/5. The bread basket contains an assortment of Kulcha, naan, lachcha paratha and roti. There were about 12 pieces of various breads in the basket and it is sufficient for 4 people. Special mention to the onion Kulcha which was incredibly soft and flavoursome. The lachcha paratha, naan and roti were good but it wasn’t worth the price.3. Veg Dum Biryani : 3.5/5. The rice was flavourful, each grain separate and very well cooked with a good proportion of vegetables. Although the quantity was sufficient for 2 persons, it tasted quite ordinary and unremarkable for something that’s priced ₹649. It falls more into a good Pulao territory rather than Biryani.4. Hara Bhara Kebab : 3/5. As per the menu, the kebabs were supposed to have nuts and dry fruits in it. It didn’t. The chaat toppings (chickpeas, bhel, pomegranate kernals and curd) was yum and was the best part of the dish. The kebabs lacked depth of flavour and ₹499 for 4 pieces of these just doesn’t cut it.The staff was polite and the service was prompt.
