The perfect place for when you’re having the munchies in Vasant Vihar and are near E-Block. The chilly chicken hot-dog and cheese patties are mouth watering, its a lovely little bakery!! Must try.
The place is walking distance from my house and am quite happy to review since it is one of the few bakers/confectioneries,which are actually are quite decent in pricing as well as taste in vasant vihar.I used to take stuff from rainbows previously before bread d bites opened but shortly after opening i realized that bread d bites quality is far better than rainbow’s and at par with salad chef in terms of patties.i do not think it is apt to compare salad chef in c block market and bread d bites because there is considerable price difference in price of pastries and cakes.It is far better than rainbows in c block market for sure and you should not miss it if your travelling via vasant vihar.it is a must visit for pastries,patties,chocolates,breads.i have tried mostly everything and as per my observation the quality of all these things has not diminished.You might make this your permanent bakers if your not looking for pricey option in some 5 star restaurant.So do no think twice rather go to Bread D bites!
This small joint is actually an offshoot of its big brother, Rainbow in SDA market. Don’t go by the grammatical error in the name! It is popular by dint of being the only bakery in practically the whole of Vasant Vihar. There is no other place where one can get decent breads and desserts. Located in the tiny market of E Block, Vasant Vihar, it occupies a place in a group of extremely ‘useful’ shops, including a comprehensive chemist, a hygienic and reliable chick shop and lots of grocers. In turn, Bread D’ Bites is extremely useful too.It has a variety of different types of bread, including multi grain, footlongs, wheat and soft, which makes it a good weekend stop-by. The hot dog breads are small sized, soft and crumbly; very good for eating with salami and an omelet. A quick dinner that I have often picked up without having to think. It has a variety of imported chocolates, but I wish they would keep some normal ones as well! Most of these foreign chocs are a little too high priced to consider even for special occasions.The best part about this place is the tiny, simple snacks and desserts. For instance, you can have a small sausage hot dog as a quick, on-the-go bite while running errands. The chocolate tart is delicious, creamy and bittersweet, as is the lemon tart. The chocolate mousses can be tried but the tarts are most recommended.The service is quick and the main server behind the counter is extremely polite. Unless it is very crowded, you wouldn’t take time at all!Another great advantage is that this place will not pinch your pocket at all. The tarts are around Rs 30-35 and the hot dog Rs 45. Similarly, the bread loaves are very reasonable as well.Can try and it will probably become your regular hop-in joint.
