Brand – not a brand as just a sweet shop with added items. History – a very old shop and running in this area from long time. Location – it is on rani jhansi road and if you are not familiar with this area then face difficulty to locate this place. Ambience – not so cool. Below average. Food from menu – many sweets and chaats but focused item is sweets. Hygienic – yes, they serve hygienic items. Staff & service – quick and responsivePeople response & crowd – quite popular in current location. Good amount of footfall. Taste – I only took rasgulla for my family as they are fond of it and I was not in a mood to taste any other item. Taste can not be judged if it is rasgulla because you eat it with a preplanned mind set up of satisfaction. So it was good in taste. Price – prices are reasonable. Fixed price shop. Opinion – can be tried once if visiting in this area. gauravreview.wordpress.com
I happened to go to this place with a cousin of mine who is very much into street food. He loves all sorts of chaats and savories being a male. Well, I am not judging him but yes this place definitely had some great items in the sweetmeat section as well. I liked the barfis the most and the prices were okay and fine.
Been here once or twice, hard to find a parking place. Run by descendents of legendary halwais (sweets producers and distributors). The present owners lack the magical touch. The taste of the sweets are good. Don’t have high hopes. And you won’t be disappointed.
