Winter begins and you get kebab and beer combo..You won’t say no..Loved the food and chilled beer..For all Hilton Garden inn is running a kebab and beer fest till 30th November both lunch and dinner time..They are serving six veg and six non veg grilled delicacies..The pocket friendly deal starts from a nominal price of 675/- for veg and 775/- for non veg..Tawa crusted fish was crispy and perfect with spices..Veggie delight for me was makai Aur pyaz ki seekh, being grainy it was super soft and just melted in mouth..Desi ghee ki tangri with jalapeño cheese sauce was a twist but delectable..Tried all non veg options, they were toothsome, be it tandoori salmon on pineapple, sriracha chicken tikka, badami seekh kebab and barra kebab..Evening ended on sweet taste of rasgulla and gulab jamun..Not to be missed festival as the weather is complimenting it too..#wickedBhavi
The buffet and the Express menu for lunch are both good. The buffer has a widespread to choose from. I loved the paneer tikka and pizza. They also have a wide array of cocktails and mocktails
We have stayed in Hilton Garden Inn in Saket a couple of times before , and have always had a great experience with the food at India Grill, until yesterday. While staying at Hilton, we often get breakfast here and the food is delicious, the ambiance is great, most of the staff is great. We also booked the restaurant for like a 75 people dinner last winter and had a great experience. Yesterday, I had a pretty bad experience. My Uncle, my dad, my wife and I proceeded to the restaurant for a couple of drinks before dinner (while other members of our family were on the way) We interacted with a couple of servers and managers who often cater us while we are there. (Monica and devender i think, they are always courteous and nice to us. (considering that they know we are Diamond Hilton Honors Members) While we ordered our drinks and some snacks, we talked to a couple of the staff and told them we were not planning to have dinner here because we had ordered pizza and were planning to take it to our rooms. One of them, I am not sure who, recommended we can eat here itself as we had already ordered a number of things from the menu, and we were happy with it. But it all changed when i walked in with the Pizza from reception, the restaurant supervisor (*Saurabh*) came to our table and very rudely informed us that we are not allowed to open the pizza boxes here and that we should leave. My Uncle wanted to inform him that we were going to go back to our rooms after our drinks either ways and as he could see, the boxes were not open yet. I wasn’t too happy with the way he talked to us. I wish he would have given us the benefit of the doubt and listened to us, on the table, he had three Hilton honors members who were regulars at the hotel as well as the restaurant. Although, I would like to point out, most of the other staff i have encountered here is great and is always courteous . I guess one bad experience can often have a strong influence on you. Just an average restaurant, at least as far as breakfast is concerned. Went here for a breakfast buffet with my family on a weekend. Was seriously underwhelmed. The place itself has gloomy interiors with staff that looked unhappy to serve, even during the morning hours. The manager was the only one who has a clue as to what the menu had. Very usual and insipid fare on the menu. Barring the idlis and the sausages, everything was bland . The bhaturas were sad at best. The stuffing of dosa had no taste. The bakes were ok. I did like the Danish, and the fact that they had Nutella to make up for the taste some of the bakes lacked. Overall, not the best breakfast experience and not sure if I’m coming back for more.
