Interiors- The staff keeps changing the theme of the decorations and uses different delicacies for the purpose of decorations. 5/5Seating- Could’ve been more comfortable but goes with the colour scheme and the general interiors. 4/5Food- Have tried the Red Velvet Cake, New York Cheesecake, Chocolate truffle pastry, Doughnut , Evergreen Tiramisu and Chocolate Pave on different occasions and I can vouch for the quality, taste and freshness of their preparations. 5/5 Service- The staff is polite, courteous, and is well informed about what they have to offer. Downsides- When ones pays by cash, the cashier usually runs out of exact change and one ends up paying slightly more than the bill amount. Recently, I bought the Red Velvet Cake for my parent’s anniversary and apparently the edible name tag to be put on the cake, astonishingly took more than 20 minutes to get prepared and the staff of Caramel had to go to and fro a couple of times to their counterparts in the restaurant to remind them of the urgency of the name tag. So for now, I’ll give the service- 3/5. Overall- 4/5
That special Taj personal touch..Exams have always been a harrowing experience. While my daughter tackled the paper, the three and a half hour wait was nerve wrecking for me, as a mother. Since I stayed far away from the centre, I decided to spend my time at, Vivanta by Taj at Dwarka. The five days of examinations just flew by,thanks to a beautiful time spent in their Patisserie or Coffee Shop called, Caramel. The hostess at the Caramel was charming and helpful. Anee always came up with a nice suggestion to choose from, depending on my mood or the flavour of the day. Right from oh-so-mouthwatering juicy burgers, pastas, salads and sandwiches to doughnuts and beautiful cupcakes. From pastries like chocolate, truffle,red velvet to of course the Tiramisu. It was fulfilling to wash it down with cups of tea or cold coffee.I wished to write a review today to celebrate my daughter’s result of 95% in her examinations. I took her to celebrate her success to a beautiful relaxing haven called Caramel.
First of all most of the things like menu and breads that they uploaded in zomato are different. The prices of tea and coffees are triple in their menu there. The amount of tea that they offer you is in small cup as it is hotel. In images of zomato from this cafe, It has been showed the variety of breads in cafe. I mean it is like customer can see them, but it is not like that and you should ask them if they have the kind of bread that you want or no.I ordered a complete bread ( whole plain bread ) , the taste was good but it was dry. so i wont prefer to buy again.secondly, they didnt have much sweets which i shocked !its totally empty and if you want to take some birthday IT CAN BE GOOD , I AM NOT SAYING THAT IT IS VALUABLE . you should call 1 week before as maybe they dont have lots of things. I had apple pie which tasted good and tea was so so so normal.so generally i was not satisfy .
caramel is food bakery, tea coffee and dessert, loved their big size samosa, price is decent as per five star term. food quality and portion were really good.
We loved being there. The tiramisu saved you guys, it was really good. And also the chocolate mousse, just the right amount of air and thick chocolate! It was heavenly. I’ve put up the tiramisu pictures and I don’t have the mousse pictures since we gobbled it up like hungry hobos.
My last few visits were sadly not great. The choices in cakes with respect to flavours always remains same. Even after giving feedback to the team. i bought a pineapple cake yesterday and sadly the quality is degrading. A pineapple cake is supposed to have some pineapple in it but my cake had juat layer of sponge and loaded with cream to increase weight. Pineapple well just a like a cherry on top. A really disappointing purchase and not expecting such low quality standards. Additionally when it comes to savoury products i have never found any fresh the after taste is not good. My review is based on my visits made in last few months and sadly things are not great.
