105 promotion SMSs in 75 minutes. I called the number given in the SMS 15 minutes after this started. They said it was a technical glitch and they will resolve it. For the next hour my phone buzzed more than once a minute.What an absolute shit show Surya hotel. Good luck to anyone who visits this hotel or any of its restaurants and thinks they won’t be hounded by their promotions.PS – You should call out your media agency too. Let them take a bow for this piece of crap.
Visited the Atrium bar last friday for lunch and were disappointed to know that they can’t serve alcohol because of the new ban! It was a working day so it didn’t make sense to drive somewhere else for just a beer so we ordered virgin mojitos. Served in mason jars, the mojitos were perfect on a summer afternoon. It had the right amount of sugar, lemon and mint. For food we ordered Non Veg kebab platter which had four varieties of kebabs; fish tikka, mutton seekh, chicken malai tikka and galouti kebab. The fish tikka was the best. It was mild and perfectly cooked. Looked like surmai. The chicken tikka was soft, juicy and delicious and melted in the mouth. The galouti was served on a small piece of warqi roti. The roti was chewy, so i left it but polished off the ultra soft and flavourful galouti kebab. The mutton seekh was huge and hard. Was not so great. Overall nice platter to go with drinks. And will definitely fill you up! We couldn’t eat anything else. The place looked run down, it was empty (maybe because of alcohol ban), cleanliness needs special attention though. eatwithchi.com
