Don’t go here to eat, one of the worst and unhygienic place to eat. Also I was served spoiled gravy (probably cooked last night) as it smelled and taste like it. When I complained I didn’t get any response from them. Also they will put a water bottle without asking so try can charge for it.
This is the only pure vegetarian outlet located in community centre of NFC. The paneer dishes here are very good especially the paneer pasanda. Thalis are better option if looking for a complete lunch. Overall the prices are reasonable and a good option for students.
I had one of the worst experience of my life dining in this restaurant. The food quality is pathetic and the staff isn’t polite as well#aggrawalbhenkalola
Food – 6.5/10Ambience – 5/10Crowd – 5/10Comfort – 5/10Service – 7/10So the place is an average restaurant where you go for budget veg meals. Good food at reasonable price. Not worth visiting if you are exploring places & restaurants as NFC has way better restaurants & cafes to go. But this place will definitely help if you plan for daily lunch or dinner meals as it has variety of options for fixed meal thali. It’s competitor is Anandji’s restaurant in the same block which offers almost the same menu at the same price.
This place is right next to Al Bake, which gives it a huge advantage. I don’t think I would have gone to thia place if it wasn’t Tuesday that day. And this place turned out to be a disaster.Malai Chaap along with Roomali Roti was ordered as Starters. They were the only decent thing to come. Chana Masala was devoid of any spices in it. Coming to Shahi Paneer with Rice, it was the worst I have had. They were so bad that I had to leave it in between. I don’t think I can suggest this place to anyone. It is that bad
I ordered lunch from this restaurant – Dal tadka and half kadhai paneer. They put in less chapatis than I had ordered, and they hadn’t even packed the food properly. The food is too oily, I mean there’s literally oil dripping from it. Not at all a good experience.
Al Bake is a famous shop around here. If you or your friend/family is a Non Vegetarian food lover, you must have heard of Al Bake. But the problem with Al Bake is that it specializes in Non Veg food. For Vegetarians like me, it can be a bother to eat food here.Adjacent to Al Bake, is Brijwasi Restaurant which is a pure Veg restaurant. You can call it a smart move. Opening your Vegetarian only restaurant next to an ever famous hardcore Non Veg serving place. At least people are going to know you.I was happy when I found this place. A respite for a Vegetarian like me. Alas, the happiness didn’t last longer. There is outside as well as inside seating option. I went for the outside one. The outside area has the capacity of more than 20 people. Let’s come to food now. In Starters, there was Malai Chaap. The Chaap was soft and had adequate amount of Malai on top of it. It was good.In Mains, first there was Chana Masala. It looked nice and the portion was good too. But the taste was too bland. Even the spices were in low quantity. Chana was there, but the Masala Portion was missing. Finally there was Shahi Paneer and Rice Combo. It was one of the worst Shahi Paneer I have had. I won’t call it Shahi Paneer. It was a tangy Orange Color gravy with Paneer pieces in it.It felt like I should have gone with Al Bake only.In Breads, Normal Tandoori Roti was there. Roomali Roti was ordered to have it with Malai Chaap.I don’t recommend this place at all. For Vegetarians, I am sure there are other places to have your food in the busy market of New Friends Colony. thatveggieblogger.com
