After hearing about this place from different food blogs had a chance to visit it on the 1st day of the new year 2020!We were a tad late so missed on the brunch but none the less managed to go ahead with the ala carte..The food was absolutely delicious and lipsmacking!Right from the sushi rolls to the momos to their cocktails. Definitely coming back soon!
The sushi is very nice and fresh but the fried ebi tempura was full of oil.. Except the tempura the food was good. The sake was expensive and price could be better. The server Prince Dhingra was a good host.
Recently visited Kampai for a lunch. Its one of the best fine dine Japanese cuisine restaurant in Delhi. The chef has curated some of the best food from across Japan and you can certainly see the subtlety of fusion and culture in here. Few of the things which we have tried and absolutely loved it are – 1. Seaweed Potato Coquette2. Brie Cheese Tempura3. Salmon Sushi4. Prawn Dimsum5. Yaki Buta – Glazed Pork6. Miso RamenThe do have some of the classic cocktails based on Sake or you can try Sake straight.I will 100% recommend this place if you love traditional or fusion Japanese food. peckishmonk.com
Kampai serves delicious, authentic Japanese food which can be enjoyed Japanese style in their two private diners. The furniture is minimal and sakura flower motifs adorn the roof. As for the food and drinks, the following were my favourite:Yaki Buta Baraniku (braised pork belly)Sweet Potato CroquettesBrie TempuraCrunchy Vegetable Roll and Caterpillar RollMiso RamenYuzu Cheese CakeMatcha TiramisuThe service was impeccable. I highly recommend Kampai to everyone.
Kampai, one of the best place to visit for an authentic Japanese food affair. The place is dimly lit with an elegant ambiance making it a perfect spot fot some cozy dinner. The seating space consists of two private dinner in Japanese style where one can ejoy while comfortably seated cross-legged on the foor.In drinks, I tried Japanese Slipper and Tokya Spritzer. Both the cocktails were fab. Wr brgna our meal with Chirashi seasfood salad which was refreshing. Brie Tempura in vegetarin appetizer was the best. Each and very sushi that I tried was amazing. Talking about thr main course, I had Miso Ramen (Non-Veg). The quantity of the dish is more than enough for two people. The flavours were so good.Dessert is always the fav part. I tried Match Tiramisu and Yuzu Baked Cheese Cake. Both were interesting and tasty but the combination of matcha and tiramisu was really good.
It’s a very pretty place with good hospitality. Large crowds can take private room sitting area in which they can sit on the floor and eat.Couples can take table of 4 and have curtains to enjoy privacy while being in public.Coming to food, ramen was awesome! Drinks were mind blowing!Sushi was average, bao and Momos were nice.Chose the chef special dishes only.
Very rarely, we come across a place that impresses is in every possible aspect. Kampai happens to be one of these rare places. Serving Japanese cuisine and a few other Oriental preparations, this place has one thing or the other for all.We started our journey with the mouth watering braised pork. Succulent cubes of pork belly, braised in a subtle sauce actually made us fall in love with the preparation instantly. But we were in store for much more. The host of dimsums, from prawn to chicken and vegetable dimsums, every single preparation was delectable. Loved it!Next, was the assortment of sushis. I was quite by the prawn sushis. And when it comes to the other ones, let’s say I had better ones. The star of the afternoon was the miso ramen.Soupy noodles in a bit spicy broth, with minced chicken, vegetables and egg had us floored. Loved every bite of it. Don’t miss out on this one.Add to it the low comfortable seating and an impeccable service. And we’re in for a good time. sweetfreshlimesoda.blogspot.com
