Keichha is a chinese outlet inside the shopping complex of JNU. The seating is very basic just like all other eateries in JNU. They serve all kind of chinese dishes such as fouyang, shappeli, noodles and rice with different curries. The recommended dishes are special Keichha rice and lamb Chilly garlic noodles.
A tiny outlet in the Kamal Complex in JNU, Keichha has been known among students for the great Chinese and Tibetan food they offer. The momos they serve is really good: better than the the NE Dhaba ones. Their soups are really good too!!
Kiechha is the place that you should visit if you want to have tibetan food without making a hole in your pocket. My personal favourite is the veg steam noodles along with chilli potatoes. The noodle pan cake (fouyang) is just awesome. I go to this place sometimes just to have their fouyang. The momos that they serve is very soft and juicy. Their chilli chutney is great only if you love ‘hot and spicy’. However, they do not have a great sitting place, they can accommodate only 10-12 person at a time and also do not expect a great ambience. Go their for some awesome tibetan food and enjoy a walk in JNU ring road.
Keicha always used to save me from the shitty food that my hostel mess in JNU used to serve occasionally.Their chowmein amd hakka noodles are the best I’ve had.Also the soups and thukpas are top notch.Its amazing how delicious the food is at such cheap rates. Some great memories made in this place in the past two years. The muffins made by Keicha aunty are a must try.
The food here is amazing yet very cheap! Probably one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in the JNU area!There are restaurants which might offer better food, but they will surely burn a hole in your pocket!All in all Keichha should be your go to for for Chinese food delivery!
Variety of food is available here in Chinese and North-eastern food. Taste of food is authentic. Try there Noodles or Soups if you have never had North-eastern food.
Small place, not that hard to spot! Cosy in winters, a no visit for summer! An amalagam of South East Asian and North East Indian cuisine. Fruit beer is a must try! What i like about the place is the hospitality! The owner ma’am is friendly and handles the small place really neat. Try in smoked lamb, chilly lamb and lamb sesame! Prawns in hot garlic sauce and fish salt and pepper are the next in the must try list! For soup lovers, the machow soup just works great! For main course i always prefer the lamb egg fouyang. I love it as i got introduced this never seen before delicacy right here! If u r in JNU, its a must go place!!
