Right next to Narmada hostel is this amazing place located. The Afghani chicken is amazing here. Of course the doodh patti is to die for(Taste amazing with pakodas). The food is overall great.They can make improvement on there service time. Generally it takes a bit to long for your order to reach you. But that can be overlooked since there is always a long lines for orders.
Teflas the host of JNU student activists as the JNU students Union office is just in front of it. The priemere of all the eatries in JNU. Quality and taste wise it is just equivalent to north-east dhaba or 24/7 food court. Recommendations: Doodh Patti and all Non Veg dishes.
Chicken momos from Tefla canteen are some of the most yummiest momos at a whooping price of RS.50. have a go at them if you’re around JNU.
A better place when u want to talk to someone else over a cup of tea or coffee ..apart from the special dudhpatti chai n pokoda ..u can go for lunch or dinner but u can get better food in the same budget in other restaurants inside d campus..
The food is quite good, especially like the tawa chicken, but the attitude of the owner/managers is not very welcoming, apart from that one might have to wait for unusually long time for their food at here.
teflas is one of the famous hangout places in JNU. i am a regular visiter to this place. usually , we come here for snacks . i like TEFLA’s DUDH PATTI . food is average here . but what i dont like is there billing system and the service. though not a bad option given the menu prices . can be tried as you dont have other better options inside the campus..
Teflas one of the oldest canteen in JNU. The canteen has a big hall and is a good hangout place with your friends as the service is very slow. So whenever you are on date or you wish to order and relax, come down to Teflas they will provide you quality time with your friends and date. Coming to the food, it is pocket friendly and serves food of good taste. I would recommend ‘Panner Bhujia’ as for the very first time I had tasted ‘Gravy wala paneer bhujia’ that was awesome. Baigan ka bharta is good one to try. The main course is also good.P.S: FOR THE FIRST TIME GOERS- Before going to Teflas one should know that Tea is known as ‘Dhoodh Patti’ so if you have ordered for Chai and the waiter calls for Dhodh Patti don’t get astonished!
