For a change I did not click pics of the food because I was busy ravishing it! But the service right from the time we walked in to the time we left, was pretty courteous. The ambience was simple and pleasant. And if you know what to order you’re pretty sorted. The cocktails were pretty goos too! The highlight was the saunf aka mouth freshners! We were craving for a paan and this was a pretty good mix!
Food :The food was as the name suggests a powerhouse of masala with vibrant textures, poignant flavours, and exclusive selection of veg and non veg favourites with a twist .Drinks: From the select drinks we tried, the options seemed very unique and had a lovely punch to kick start your dining experience!Ambience: A very spacious venue for family dining or a quaint sit down for two, the Masala House offers cozy seating with ambient lights and a candle lit set up to make the dinner dates very special .
Beautiful new place in Porvorim. Fine dine place, tables placed well to give you freedom to spend quality time with family and friends. Old Portuguese house well converted in a restaurant. Short but good menu to select from. Steward Pradip Roy well versed with the menu. Every dish was great. Well crafted and served with a smile. Dum biriyani is amazing, the flavour, texture and quantity. Mattr ke tikki, Kurkure bhindi, and non veg platter yummy. Keep it up.
Really impressed with this new place in town. Happened to visit it on my 1 hour lunch break. Service is extremely good and prompt right from serving us the mint leaves infused water from the beginning to the mukhwas at the end with the bill. The Tamarind Pineapple Cooler & Watermelon Coconut Highball were excellently prepared. The Butter chicken was absolutely yummy and had the right blend of ingredients.Would definitely go again to try other items on the menu.Ambience-5/5Service-5/5Food-5/5Value for money-4/5
Kudos to Saurabh Anand for yet another awesome venture.Masala house has a different vibe of its own. The ambience is really nice and food is really amazing. Every dish we tried was unique in it’s own way.For mocktails we tried the watermelon coconut highball and kokum refresher. Each more appealing and tastier than the other. For starters in veg I would recommend Matra tikki and khumb luqmi. In non veg I would highly recommend the Dora kebab. As the name suggests they use a string to serve the kebabs from the wooden skewers.Kadi patta jheenga were really tasty and a must try.For mains I would recommend butter chicken and the bafat masala fish. They pair really nice with the appams and lachcha paratha. They have a small parking space available staff is very friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend this place for some nice Indian food
