Dunhill is one of the best food destinations in South Goa. SouthIt has an amazing sea view of Agonda beach. I was surprised to see an extensive menu. They have some really good dishes. We ordered lasagna which tasted good. One thing that turned me a little off is the service, the waiter makes you wait for long. However, price here is pocket friendly compared to other beach shacks in Goa.
The setting of the place is breathtaking really. The food and the drinks were okay too. I enjoyed the Goan Iced Tea the most. The banana split special requires a bow.
Goa food always fascinated me, where ever I eat. but for the first time in my 8 visits of goa, I was so surprised to eat a food like in this place, it was so damn tasteless, that when we try to tell chef to do something he gave us a barbeque sauce for the taste. The chicken lollipop was so bad that out of 8 pieces we have to let go 5, it was not even going inside, and when we told all this to the billing person, he was not even tried to apologized. I regret to say that it’s all the chef you ruined the food bit by bit..
Ambience: The ambience is good. It’s a spacious place located right at Agonda beach. Very calm during the day and beautifully lit up at night.Food: We had Chicken tikka masala and King fish in gravy with some rotis and Naan. Both the dishes were just about average. They make excellent non alcoholic drinks though. The lemon iced tea and lime mint soda were exceptionally good than any other places I have had.Service: The waiters are well mannered with all the tourists and served us well.
First of all, this restaurant is not on Palolem, but Agonda beach, and Agonda is more than 8 kms from Palolem. And Agonda beach has over 50 restaurants, but Zomato’s least bothered about introducing this beach as a geographical sub-category. Anyway, about this restaurant, it is a wing of the famous Dropadi restaurant in Palolem, but it isn’t as impressive as the original restaurant. The menu is the same, but the same staff is less efficient and courteous than it is at Dropadi. Nevertheless, I love their food. When I was in Goa and would crave for authentic North Indian food, I’d visit either them or Dropadi. They also have a lovely view of the Arabian Sea. Recommended for Paneer items and Dal Makhni.
One must absolutely have the grilled sea food platter! its enormous and value for money. The food melts in your mouth. the view is amazing and the staff is efficient.
Highly Orthodox staff, very Unfriendly and disrespectful. Food was okay, but wouldn’t spoil again my afternoon at such a restaurant. They should learn to respect different cultures
