Aniket bar is a very popular joint in Anjuna area. The Xacuti here is worth a try. Also known to serve alcohol during lean and dry days. Cost effective and absolutely raw.
This is where I have lunch most days. Haven’t tried too many things. The fish thali is excellent. I’ve heard the veg thali is quite good also. Seved quickly and served hot. The fish is cooked in a lovely spice mixture and the clams are delicious
The best seafood I had in Goa! This was our first visit to Goa, and we had visited Curlies, Thalassa, Infantaria among other places, all of which were really good. But amazing seafood, no other place had it as good as this unassuming local joint which was the cheapest of the lot by a mile. And so under the radar that I decided to write my first zomato review to let other people know about this place. Don’t expect much in terms of ambience or comfort, but highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Goan experience. Try the Crab Xacuti, Mussels fry, Lepo fry, and Goan fish curry meals.
First impression – just another roadside joint to satiate your hunger. But it turns out to be more, but just in terms of food. Don’t expect anything in terms of service or ambiance, both of them are virtually non existent. The food was great though. We’d ordered a prawn xacuti and chicken kafrel. The rotis were pathetic though. We should’ve ordered rice. But the kafrel and the xacuti were good, so we had that going for us.
