It’s one of the best pure vegetarian restaurants in Goa situated inside Rio Resort. ’Jalsa’ means celebration in the Gujarati language so when you eat at Jalsa every moment is celebrated, and one is full of joy after tasting their succulent food.Manchow soupIt was perfect to start our evening, it was hot, little spicy and really tempting.Cheese Corn BallsThe outer layer was crispy while the inside layer was soft with melting cheese giving it a sound bite. Served along with mayonnaise dip.Veg ManchurianCrispy vegetable balls cooked in soya sauce. LusciousPaneer Tikka MasalaMedium spicy semi-liquid red gravy with pieces of paneer inside. Paneer was soft, and gravy was flavoursome with floating cheese on top.Veg KolhapuriThick brown gravy mixed with fresh vegetables like corn, green peppers, green peas and french beans. Rich in quantity and quality both.Dal FryYellow dal with tadka. MouthwateringJeera RiceProperly cooked rice. Mixed with dal fry was giving a wholesome bite.Chocolate PastrySmall pieces of chocolate pastry- layers of crunchy brownie small pieces and melting cream was toothsome.Red Velvet PastrySoft and tasty. Have tried better red velvet pastry. It can be missed.Overall great experience, the food was terrific, and the service was excellent.
