Coco’s Kitchen is a small joint off the Assagsaon – Siolim slope. I decided to give the place a try because of a sudden craving for Thai food and that it was literally 5 mins away from my house. Well I wasn’t very impressed with the ambience of the place and the staff weren’t very welcoming. I decided to ignore that and give the food a try. Well there were a few hits and a few misses. I loved the Pad Thai, the Thai green curry, the chicken wings and the mango with coconut sticky rice. But the sticky rice that I ordered to go with the green Thai curry was very dry. I pointed it out to the waiter but he didn’t really have any knowledge about it so he called the Thai chef. She spoke to me in a very sarcastic way and told me that this is how it supposed to be. Well I have been to a lot Thai restaurants and I have had this dish in Thailand as well and I never ever been served dry sticky rice. Well I decided not to argue and moved on paid my bill which I found really affordable and left. I may visit this place again only because it is Siolim and is in close proximity to my house.
