A all three time meal place breakfast lunch dinner a buffet kind of a place or common restaurant for the people who stay . The best place is casual , accommodates reception travel desk spa business centre around it and is mostly the centre of the property close to the swimming pool .
Visited La Cafe on a weekday.The service was great and quick. Good portions were perfect and the staff was quite courteous. A very good experience overall.
The breakfast menu is totally out of the world. Loved it.Staff is courteous and serves well. Great food and great ambience. My stay at the la calypso hotel was memorable. Also we ordered lot of items from the menu like pomfret , Goan curry, prawns and the cream of chicken soup. It was just outstanding. Also the drinks like lemon juice and ice tea is made very well. Overall happy with the experience.
I was staying at Hotel La Calypso and complimentary breakfast buffet in La Cafe was included in the package. But it was just average all the days. Sambar was too sweet, Chicken nuggets were harder than usual and worst part was pranthas they served in buffet. On the other hand, the food in room service was excellent which also comes from the same kitchen. Service in room service was slow sometimes. The staff is too good and they try to fulfill all the possible demands of their guests. Overall it’s only an option for in house guests but not recommended for outsiders.
