Words fall short for this beautiful place, amazing hospitality, needless to say the taste was at its best.Staff was very courteous and professional. Made us feel very comfortable and met every need of ours. Special thanks and compliments to Nanna.
Date : 9-June-2018 at 9 AM Had breakfast as well as dinner at this diner. This is a good place with lot of options both for veg & non veg tastes. The breakfast buffet is superb and so is the one for dinner. Good food & service. The location too is superb with a sea view. Must visit if you are in South Goa. Looks like now this has a different name 🙂
Stayed at the Taj Exotica for 2 Nights & 3 Days in September. An experience I would love to share. The location is secluded and in order to make up for that, the property has anything and everything you will need to make sure you don’t need to move out of the premises. The have a wonderful lawn which is vast and also have facilities like Football, Cricket, Tennis, Table Tennis, Snooker/Pool Table, etc.The beautiful lawn is connected to the Benaulim Beach and the beach is serene. The white sands and the fact that its secluded for the hotel residents is just a wonderful experience. Towards the beach boundary wall, there are two/three wonderful cottages which are of premium category. The exterior of these cottages have such a warm and luxurious feel. The regular category rooms are done up brilliantly. The interiors are so elegant. The check in process was way faster than we had expected. After a tiring travel, we were definitely not up for an elongated paper work filled check in process, but to our surprise it was very swift. Salman was the duty manager who made sure our check in process was easy and fast. The coffee shop where the breakfast buffet was laid every morning – Eugenia. It had a very vast menu ranging from various cuisines. Mr. Rohit waitered us well for almost all of our meals and it was a brilliant experience dining there. Chef Naina made sure that our dishes were made as to our liking and also suggested us some wonderful options which are their specialities.Half of our stay was spent in the swimming pool. Mr. Shabhinath was serving us food and beverages at the pool send and he was always on his toes.A small mention for the Jiva Spa which was a brilliant experience. Just had a back massage done, but my friends went for a full body massage and its definitely rejuvenating.Mr. Devender Singh was the wonderful gentleman always available with the guest cart to drive us around the property from one location to another. I am sure the availability of the cart and the need of us having used it give you an idea of the expanse of the property.A wonderful holiday I must say.
The property is amazing and the vibe is really relaxing but the food is pretty average in terms of variety. If I wanted to eat an all Indian veg buffet I would’ve gone to a local restaurant instead of spending a 2200 plus tax per person for dinner. The continental menu was on its way to being non existent. Just a mere veg parmesana and a lemon chicken that wasn’t impressive at all. There was one plate of cold cuts and two pan Asian options. The service was on point and the dining staff did an amazing job. The Indian food was pretty good no doubt but for the money and star status a much more inclusive menu should have been thought out. Such a shame.
A beautiful place with amazing food. The cakes are always fresh and on point. A perfect places to hang out with special people. Do give it a try!
Wandering around the streets of goa, driving a rented car on a gloomy rainy day, it just struck to me why not visit the taj, sit at one of the open air restaurants and make best of the weather. So we landed up here. The entrance to the hotel is mesmerising; being Taj, they are known for their ultra luxurious properties. We were escorted to this cafe Eugenia and we ordered for cappuccino and cafe latte. To be frank with you, I have had better coffee but the ambiance supplemented by the amazing weather was simply too good to resist. After sitting for sometime we even ordered for a made to order veg grilled cheese sandwich which again was quite average in taste. After a few more cappuccinos and lattes that followed over our discussions, the weather changed the clouds were gone and it was sunny again. We took a stroll towards the beach, enjoyed the scenic beauty, the serenity the sound of the waves gave and composure given by the cool breeze blowing across through the hair. I guess the overall experience was too good and my decision to have coffee at taj was complimented by all. In almost all my reviews I have laid much emphasis on food taste and quality. Little have I ever tried to pen down my experience for a restaurant solely based on the ambiance. Well this place defines the essence of a place that I never felt. So unique and pure even I have very few words left to describe the experience. You simply need to visit this place. Be it any season, just come here, sit back, relax and let the calmness give you a different HIGH you never felt before. Thanks for reading. Cheers. Happy munching :).
I absolutely love the place and the food we had had a choice the chef and staff were kind enough to go above and beyond to keep us comfortable.
