Ambiance: This place is close to the bogmalo beach. It doesn’t have any beach view though. It’s a small place with limited seating. Simple decor and good ambiance.Food:- Pinacolada: Very refreshing. Must try.- Kunthal fry: Squids in Kerala style pepper based masala. Squids were cooked well. Recommended.- Cozy chettinad: Chicken in spicy chettinad masala. Must try this one if you like spicy food.- Appam: Good and soft. Recommended.- Chicken stew: Coconut milk based chicken gravy. It was amazing. Try bread/poi to accompany it. We ordered it with Appam but combination didn’t work out.- Chicken masala: Spicy and tangy flavoured Kerala styled chicken gravy. Must try.- Malabar parathas: These are must try for main course. Perfectly accompanied Chicken masala gravy.Apart from Kerala style cuisine, they serve American dishes too.Cost: Most item are in range of 200 to 350 bucks.Service: Quick service. Staff was less and bit inattentive.

You must’ve heard of Swing, right? A popular restaurant located in Miramar. But guess what? It’s time to ditch the city and head over to Swing By the Bay! Just a few minutes away from the airport and Bogmalo beach this restaurant is every traveller’s dream come true. Swing has taken the top spot on my list of best Goan Malabar Cuisine restaurants. The ambience of the place isn’t very glamorous but oozes with simplicity and modesty. I didn’t miss the opportunity to have one of my favourite cocktail; the Cucumber Collins. The owner and host Mohit can be described as a passionate, knowledgeable and a very down to earth person. He explained every dish in detail and I couldn’t help but see it through the food. This is one of the rare occasions where I have found every dish having a unique taste of it’s own and my favourites being the Kozhuwa Meen Peera, the Chemmeen Fry and the Prawn Moilee. Every ingredient of every dish I had at Swing stood out and that’s the reason I give it a 5 star rating. I think Swing by the Bay is one of the best restaurants in Goa and I’m glad that it isn’t anything like the old Swing.
A great place to go to (for Bitsians especially). The Alfredo pasta here is great and so are the jalepeno cheese balls. However the best thing about the place is the customer service provided by the owner Mohit. Really great guy and one should definitely have a shot of Sumbuca with him! Also available are games which you can play while you await delicious food.
