The place is set right near the Calangute Baga circle and is easy to locate. The service is fine and food is good too. It’s not very highly priced and the qty is also ok. The taste was good too.
The location & plave was attractive enough for us to drag In. We had been there during Evening & our order was Prawns Chilly, KingFish Masala, Pineapple Juice & Fresh Lime Soda. The food was fine. Prawns were very good but coming onto Fish was not at all Good. It was quiet dry & seemed not fresh. Pineapple Juice was very fresh & refreshing. The service is also nothing great to Boast about. It’s just the location and somewhat Funky Name. The prices being tourist place are fine.
This place is located in Calangute at a prime location. The ambience is decent and the food is nice. During our stay in Goa we visited this place a couple of times. Nice north indian food. Overall it was a nice experience. Total value for money.
Punjabi Handi the place looks good from outside. Had order the seafood which wasn’t fresh. The quality of food is not good. Even in the ac section the seatings are very uncomfortable. And on top of it they don’t accept card payments.
So this place is in calangute. The name attracted us here. Good ambience. Coming to the food it was good too. For starters we ordered chicken chilly and for main course we had naan and chicken tikka masala which was delicious. Overall we had a good experience here. Visited this place with my parents for dinner. The ambience of the place is good. The service was average. We ordered Prawn Rawa Fry, Calamari Golden Rings, Mix Veg Pakoda, Prawn Xacuti, Mushroom masala , rotis and thumbs up, Mirinda, Slice. The Prawn Rawa Fry was very good and quantity was also great. Tried Calamari rings for the first time and it was a bit on sweet side and it tasted good. The Mix Veg Pakoda was also very good. The prawn Xacuti tasted very good and the mushroom masala was also very good. The prices were reasonable. But the major drawback was the place didn’t accept Card payments ( They told the place was new and didn’t have the Card payment option). Look into this. Rest all is good.
One must try their Chicken tikka masala (mouth watering) with laccha prantha. The next best thing was Dal makhni.
