Great ambience, nice food and courteous staff. You need to find this perfect place to have a freshly cooked authentic goan meal. This has to be one of the best dinner experience at Calangute Beach.
Seeing the good reviews went there for dinner. But somehow they said they’ll be closing by 11:00PM so will not be able to serve dinner. Was very disappointing and also the behavior was also annoying. They didn’t even gave reason for that.
The reason why we were here was that we booked our huts with them, so this made us try their food.During all three days we had plenty of food sitting at their shacks which also included the gala dinner on 31st dec.The ambience at night is pretty good!We tried chicken lollipop, calamary, prawn curry, the morning sandwiches, french fries and a lot more.Prawns were good.Full points for the hospitality and the personalised services. Joseph, Dominique, Vibhor everybody did a good job!The food was okay. nothing special to talk about, however the gala dinner was disappointing in taste.The biggest minus point in my point of view was the music played here. My friends and I were actually yawning throughout the new year’s eve.
A must visit place in southern goa. Kya mahol hai! It will raise your heart bit more because of the excitement when you visit the site first. These people are so humble and nice. They prepare food with love. The bar is also awesome. They also have barbecue food. The can prepare custom recipes for you. We will visit again!
Nothing special about this one. Food tastes average. Good portions served and very hospitable staff 🙂 Might give this one a miss on our next visit.
Loved prawns in butter garlic sauce,kalamari for starters. Prawn goan curry, spaghetti, on main course was just about good. Although the food was good, the service took top long when we were the only guests there. The beach side location is an added advantage with nothing but the moon and stars for company. Overall it was a good experience.
It was our second lounge. In goa we used spend our evenings in this particular shack. Their menu has has a huge verity. Something for everyone. the food is just tasty. Ambiance of this place is something which attracted us. O’ they have their own huts if you are search of nice beech huts on calungute contact ’em. We have tried so many things here and it is difficult for me to chose one to be recommended yet if I have to i would recommend Pork Sorpotel.
