This restaurant is just beside the Calangute beach. A small sea view food joint with decently priced, good quality food. The cocktails are also worth a try. Nice ambiance with good service.
Nice place to enjoy a dinner. To try: Chicken Lollipop and Prawns masala fry. Good ambience since it’s a shack and good service. They will say that you will be seated ahead of everyone, however you need to request that no one else should sit in front of you specifically.
It’s right on Calangute beach, one nuisance is they pester you to order something all the time. But the quality of food and cocktails is good. Also, prices are somewhat reasonable compared to other outlets nearby.
Since the location of the restaurant is pretty good (its on Calangute Beach, The Most famous beach of Goa), Many Customer come and sit there to enjoy the view of the Beach.. but a guy will keep coming and will keep asking if you want to order something till you don’t order.. Honestly Speaking, Its less of a restaurant and more of an open Dhaba kind of place which looks very unhygienic.. The food tastes much below average and the prices are pretty high (probably coz of location).. The place also looks little dirty which may be coz of the beach & many people come and go but then again its their responsibility to keep it clean.. I think this is the only restaurant which will negotiate its pricing.. I asked for the price of squids and they said 800 bucks, Obviously I didn’t ordered and then almost 5-6 times the same guy came and negotiated the price to Rs. 500. He kept saying order fast else it will finish off.. Since the tase was much below average (of other things we ordered) i didn’t ordered squids thinking even 500 would be the waste of money.. You can go there and enjoy the scenic beauty of Calangute (although I like Baga beach more since it is clean and less crowded) and order something that is less Expensive like French fries & a bear or a cocktail/mocktail but don’t order anything Very Expensive as it would be a total waste of money.. They are not professional cooks and there too many restaurants nearby that will give you good food for less than the price mentioned here..
