I don’t understand how this place doesn’t have any reviews. I came yesterday and today for lunch and the food is incredible. The menu is tapas style with a variety of hot and cold dishes, all quite original and incredibly tasty. My highlights (although I loved them all) were the prawns with tamarind, pumpkin with ginger, tomatoes, cashew lime and yoghurt and the fried cauliflower with tahini dressing. Dessert and drinks are gorgeous too. 10 times better than anywhere on the beach. I will be having most of the rest of my meals here.
I can’t put into words what I feel about this place. I watched 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri here. I ate here on my birthday and then two nights in a row. Such respect for ingredients, love of hosting and openness of spirit here. I am here in Delhi but planning my Goan wedding around their food and venue. Perhaps that spells out that their food has me obsessed. PS I visited an year back.
After an early morning flight, we reached south goa and were looking for a place for breakfast. While roaming around from out hotel we spotted this quaint cafe and decided to eat there. We ordered oats pancakes, patatas bravas with eggs, coconut water slushie and passion fruit spritzer. The food was good and we ate ravenously. The pancakes were soft and yummy topped with honey/maple syrup(not sure) and assorted fruits. The potatos lacked salt, but were good where paired with salsa/sauce. The drinks were nice and not overly sugary and with natural flavour. The ambience is too good with shady trees all over providing a respite from the heat. The place accepts cash and card and owing to the remotness of south goa maynot be fully crowded when you visit.
