I ate many times at babutes during my trip to goa. It was just walking distance from my homestay and thus was our go-to option to eat and grab anything to eat whenever we were craving something. It’s very spacious..with a huge sitting area and very comfortable chair and very pleasant ambience. It’s a on corner of the road and is open from 2 sides. So you can have your food and watch people from different cultures running around the streets of goa.It has a huge non veg menu. They even serve fishes like sharks which made me suprised as it was the first time I saw anything like that on menu Being raised in Delhi. The food here was good.I being a North Indian who loves spicy food felt that the the spiciness was missing a lot.Its mainly best for Breakfast as they serve American cuisine really nice. They also have a large cocktail menu to choose from. And a live kareooke session at night and good music on screen during day time. The staff was also very friendly.

Hopeless service. We had to wait for half an hour for just a simple order of fish thaali and squid chilly. A thaali is something which is generally ready in no time as everything is almost ready but the waiter claimed that they prepare everything fresh. I guess they had surely gone for fishing then to start with the fresh preparation of the thaali. Not at all recommend ed to go to this place if you are hungry !!!

The only reason we ate our breakfast here was because it was at a walking distance from our stay. Pathetic service and not at all good food. We ordered sandwiches and coffee and both were very cold as if the chef made it and they were serving it after an hour. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Very nearby, there is a place called Simba which is far more better than this, but sadly they don’t serve breakfast.Service – -1 (negative 1)Food – 0Ambience – 1

Pathetic service. We waited too long. When we asked for a water, waiter said “I’ll call for your waiter”, who was busy with other customers. They don’t understand request for draft beer.It is written “no smoking area”, but on all tables you will find ashtrays and all clothes with holes from ash.Somehow on open terrace you will feel strong smell of cheap toilet deodorant. After having bottled beer I left hungry but without hesitation.

Staff is indifferent but not rude so be sure not have an indulging experience! They won’t sell you anything but won’t also share what’s to try!Portions are small so order double if you want to fill yourselves up! It is open late so you have someplace to go rather than go empty stomach!Experience – AverageFood – AverageService – AverageCleanliness – Below Average
