Bob’s Inn is a casual dining place located on Candolim-Calangute road. They specialises in Goan food. The interior wasn’t that great. There was lots of stuff like earthen pot, posters, sculptures, empty liquor bottles and other things that were just lying there. It would be better if owner removes some unwanted stuff and do some renovation.We went early for dinner, so the place was almost empty. Service is a bit slow.We ordered chicken vindaloo and steamed rice as we were not that hungry. Vindaloo was quite spicy and it was delicious. It goes well with steamed rice. We also wanted to try Poee, but it wasn’t available.Overall it’s a decent place to try Goan food.
Food is yumm. Loved the food so much. Candolim’s one of the most famous restrurant. Will visit again. I really like the versatile array of their Delicious Sea Food.
This place is old crap. We had been here in afternoon and there was one devil like staff who does not understand and does not know how to communicate. We bought steaks and they were smelling foul with cheap barbecue sause used.We also ordered prawns but looks like they count it like 4 only and then fry in some ancient oil which also smells like road side fried food. Total crap restaurant. To sum up this crap restaurant will burn hole in pocket.
Doesn’t deserve a single star. Its shit expensive not worth paying for any of the dishes. Meats wer just boiled n thrown some Barbecues sauce and called as steak and sizzler n charged like hell. We ordered for drunken prawns cooked with alcohol but it was just boiled in coconut milk with mushrooms and 4 piece of prawns and charged 350rs. No friendly staff. We suggest not to visit the place unless u want to waste ur time n money. Abnormally expensive shit
Bob’s inn has a a different ambience all together. Compared to the posh styles of the new age restaurants, Bobs inn had a different look all together, with its -80’s restaurant look.The food was just great specially the beef chilly and the crab xec xec. Fresh and awesomely cooked seafood!
The place has a lovely theme to it.. True to Bob Marley’s essence. Lots of artifacts around and the place is quite place to go to if you are in a noisy talkative group. The service is good as runs on a skeleton staff. The inn doesn’t attract customers as there is no music playing.. not even recorded. We had only a drink and left as we were the only ones there.
