The oh so famous Fisherman’s Cove at Candolim! Visited this place with the wifey on a Sunday evening. The place was packed but we got a table easily. The live music ambience added to the relaxed and holiday vibe. Service is prompt and quick. I tried the prawns rawa fry and the calamari butter garlic rings. I find the portion vs price ratio slightly unfair but considering it’s location and ambience I think it’s worth it. The prawns rawa fry reminded me of the kind of food you get in seafood restaurants of Mumbai and Konkan. Crispy fresh prawns fried in a masala rawa batter served with onion rinds and lemon and tartar sauce. The calamari rings were simply mind-blowing! Definitely worth a visit when in Candolim!

One common theme during my visit to Goa was finding appalingly bad food at hyped up places. The fish was a big disappointment. I was surprised that something this small and that tasted this uneventful could cost 1400. The xacuti also didn’t do anything to make our evening better. Skip. Please.Taste:1/5Ambience:4/5Service: 3/5Cost: 2.1k for 2
