Inviting ambience but the food wasn’t that goodAug 26 lunch: Another place which is walking distance from the Novotel Shrem. When we entered, there was another big group that entered, so we though it may be a good choice to eat here. The ambience was inviting with a shack like atmosphere. The beers were chilled and they had an offer on Kings – instead of 70 per bottle, a bucket of 4 cost 200 bucks. Started with masala papad which was good in taste but a bit oily. The butter garlic mushroom was kind of a disaster – there wasn’t any taste – just that it was too much butter and probably too much garlic. Ordered for garlic bread to go with it. The garlic bread tasted good with right amount of garlic but the pieces were too big. The Paneer chilli was again not that good in taste as well the paneer wasn’t soft. The prawn rawa fry was better – tasted well. The service was attentive and good.
Had a great time here!
Have been there last time I was in Goa. The food is pretty average. The price is exorbitant. The whole stretch at Candolim where this restaurant is based, has many great food joints that serve delectable food. I suggest you look for other options and avoid this place.
I wish they prepared food worth a visit again. Pathetic prawn curry to say the least. Also the roti/ chapati wasn’t properly cooked. Should be avoided at all costs
Bad service. Pathetic ordering. Not open always..not a place if you want to come with a big group and sit for a long. Not recommend or suggested.
Good food. Nice place to visit once. They have lot of variety but we preferred North Indian food. In dal tadka they actually put full red chilli which enhances the taste.
The place was amazing near Candolim, recent view , quite place to talk and relax specilly during dinner if you just want to munch on. However the food taste is something that need to really worked on we preference hakka noodles which are too spicy and high quantity of salt in chicken Tikka masala . But overall was good , Drinks Like Mojito were made well and prawn were well cooker otherwise would suresh return again whenever in Goa
