It was on my Goa trip I went there.I was staying in Candolim, it was few kms away from our hotel.Lovely ambience with delicious mouthwatering menus. Karaoke was also there.
Terrible management. Doesn’t allow over the counter purchases and behaves irrational with customers. I wasn’t served alcohol on the account that they don’t ‘allow’ single beer purchases on card.Everything on the menu is expensive for Goa standardsNever coming back here
We were there to celebrate my cousin s birthday on 29th December. We are frequent visitors of Anthony’s from so many years. After that days rude behavior of staff we have decided never to visit it again. After cutting the cake we started to give order for our dinner. So we called the waiter and told the Appetizers and drinks initially. We were supposed to order main course later after a while. He took our order and came in after few minutes and told us initial order should cost more then 6000 or else they won’t take the order only. We we’re group of 7 so obviously with appetizers, drinks & mains our bill would have crossed 6k easily. We really found it very insulting,this is not the behavior to talk to customer service. Had never faced it before as frequent visitors. We spoke to manager and left immediately. If they had any such rule they should put it up at the entrance. Never faced such behavior in any restaurant.
We were charged extra for 8 drinks when we are completely sober and we know how much we drank. This is the 4th time I’ve been to St. Anthony’s and this is the first time I’ve experienced such a shitty service. We had to pay around 4k extra. People just save yourself and go to a more professional place than St. Anthony’s. Nelson who is the Manager is the worst ever who made us pay extra for something which we never drank. Worst ever place to come. Please go to someother place and save your money by these cheaters.
Recently Visited the place along with my best buddy on his birthday. according to me its a one of the best bar in Calangute beach in Goa. always crowded because of the beach bar and its open till 2-3 AM morning. – The Location, Ambience is fine.-Those who karaoke lover then its the best place for them because it’s basically known for karaoke music.-We have ordered King fish Tawa fry,French Fries and Prawns Salad and bunch of Beer.* Tawa fry is amazing as its a well cooked.*Prawns Salad is also tested good but it’s for those who basically like the continental kind of dishes.-The Service is Excellent even though there was a huge crowd.Overall the place is nice and those who like to enjoy late night I would recommend visiting once.Rating :Food :Tawa Fry 7/10French Fries 6/10Prawns Salad 5/10Ambience 7/10Service 10/10
This is a place where many locals hangout. Been going there for many years. Great place to unwind and have good time. Drinks and hookah are great and so is their karaoke.Always crowded and gets crazy on weekends. Food is ok and service very slow to nil on weekends. Just go only to have good time but don’t bank of food and service.
