The spaghetti was excellent. Cooked and spiced to perfection. It was so good we ordered a second. The service was absolutely excellent and very impressive. Very helpful and very polite. The French fries were great. The spinach and ricotta stuffed mushroom with Porcini was super delicious and a must try. The fresh lime soda was great. The chocolate martini was average and so was the pizza. Would highly recommend the place to people visiting the Leela and Goa.

Go to this restaurant relaxed and leisurely. It’s a casual yet sophisticated place with beautiful outdoor seating and sunset views. Amongst what we ordered, The bruschetta platter was ok; the chicken of the pizza could probably have been more well done, the calamari was excellently fried with light, crisp perfectly crumb batter paired with mayo and hot sauce; the seafood platter was 3.5/5; the truffle risotto was excellent and the best; but the panacotta dessert was a bit of a let down as it should have been more soft and flavourful. My views on the food quality are purely based on its taste keeping in mind my very tolerant palate. I’d rate 4.5/5 for the place, 5/5 for hospitality and 3.5/5 for taste and an overall 4/5 for the entire experience for the approx 10k which we paid for the two of us with taxes and NO drinks.
The Riverside, as the name suggests is a restaurant on the banks of river Sal serving authentic Italian food. It’s one of the four major restaurants at the Leela Goa, although there is a separate entrance to the restaurant without having to enter the hotel premises. We decided to try this place for dinner during our stay at the Leela. The restaurant has two seating areas – the usual air-conditioned space and a deck. We had reserved a table on the deck and were warmly welcomed and guided to one as requested. The ambience of the restaurant is good but lacks the wow factor typically associated with Leela’s restaurants, mainly due to the fishing boats anchored on the opposite bank.We decided to try garlic saute prawns and chicken fettuccine, and I have to admit that both these would easily rank within the top 5 Italian dishes that we have ever experienced. The meat was fresh, cooked to perfection with the right balance of flavours. We then ordered the exotic fruit platter and a tiramisu. Needless to say, the desserts gave the perfect finishing touch to our Italian fare.Last but not least, the service at Riverside is top notch. We were attended to by Mr David who was polite and friendly and took utmost care in suggesting dishes that match our taste. The chef and the manager (apologies for forgetting their names) also came to us and checked if they could make our experience more memorable. Overall, this is the finest restaurant at the Leela Goa, and a must visit for great Italian food and the best service in Cavelossim.
The perfect ambience for a date night. Nicely placed on the riverside as its names suggests. A 5 star experience as it was meant to be. Good food. We ordered the eggplant which was great. If you are looking for the perfect date it is the place to be.
We had a wonderful dinner and everything was delicious. Started with Caprese salad. We had our 3 year old and 5 year old and the staff was amazing. The 3 year old ate margarita pizza (pizza was good one of the better we have had in India) and the 5 year old are penne and marinara (she ate an entire adult size meal). I had the pecan crusted salmon and was the best I’ve had in awhile. My husband had the fettuccini which he said was also good. He originally thought it was fettuccine Alfredo but didn’t read the detail that it was Pesto, never less he enjoyed it. We are considering going back tomorrow night. Also a nice location sitting outside by the river!
