A calm and peaceful place by the river in Cavelossim. We went on a Sunday night for dinner. We were the only guests at that time. The place has a nice view overlooking the river. Food presentation was pretty good. Service time was average. Food quantity and quality was fine enough. If you’re a pet lover you’re going to have a good time playing with those two huge dogs. Recommended to visit in the day time to get good pictures for the gram.
This is riverside place by river Sail . Recently the owner is looking after restaurant . Near to Haathi Mahal , one has to look for a by lane to approach this place . Open air ambience is so so . This part of South Goa has little options for boozing at value for money. This place sure gets you booze & reasonably good tasty food too . Go for river side relaxation with cool breeze on a lucky day .
I was there with my friend on 30th July 2017 and spent around 4 hours. Foods were awesome, forgot the names of the dishes but the ingredients like squid, pomphret, kingfish and mutton too were just sumptuous and delicious. Just loved the food. wish to visit once in future.
I went to this place with my parents, sisters and 9 year old niece. We just loved the food. We ordered the sausage & cheese naan, pork chops cooked in their home made Goan masala, pork vindaloo, fish tikka and chicken tikka. The Pork chops which come with a side of French fries were succulent but their main plus point is the Goan masala. The sausage & cheese naan which was just mouth watering, is basically naan stuffed with Goan sausages with melted butter and cheese on top. The Fish and chicken tikka were also very tasty. Very attentive and helpful staff. If you are in South Goa, definitely visit this place.
Situated on the banks of the river Sal, this place is scenic and very rejuvenating. The food was a disappoint though. The prawn cocktail that we ordered is one of the worst I’ve ever had as the prawns weren’t fresh and were undercooked. The snail’s pace service to make it even worse. Definitely not worth the money one would spend at this place.
This place is set right next to a river and runs with a very quaint ambience. Has a huge deck and I wager they would lend you a fishing line as well if you ask nicely enough, might be a good way to while away some time as your food gets ready. Else this is a very airy, quiet place to sit and do nothing at all and just stare at the island in the distance. Would have loved it if the food took even longer to prepare.We tried a few different things from the menu and everything was prepared just perfect.It further helps that it is close to the Mobor beach, one among the fine beaches in Goa.
A beautiful ambience overlooking the sea but not many options. Its honestly a waste of time going here if you’re enjoying a trip in Goa, even though it is one of the very few shacks/restaurants in South Goa.The owner could have done a lot more with the space and the view.
