This place never dissapoints, may it be the food or the ambience!!! but hold inn- they have to a new location which I must mention is even better than the previous one.. few plots down from the old location this place has a very zen vibe, nestled after a walk through the garden we entered a huge space and it feels more open and grand than before. The food is still A-mazing and it reflects by how many people were lined up to get a table there. The drinks are economical and you should try their gelato Ice cream: mind blowing!I live this place from when it had opened up in 2009 and still love it till date, kudos to the woman who runs this with her heart and it has the Goan vibe of how you don’t have to be expensive to be a good restaurant..

We waited a whole year to eat here! During our last annual trip to goa, sakana was shut. This time we were happy to see it open! The ambience of the place is nice however it confuses me a little. Random seating with different chairs. What I really liked is the huge open space and kitchen where one can see the food being prepared. Don’t let the decor deter you though. The food is excellent. The salmon lovers sushi was alright though it’s the mains that really work here. We tried the pork katsu curry and the mapo tofu with beef udon. Both superb. Must must visit this place in the land of the fish thali!! It’s worth it.

I was so happy and excited to be here. It was my first time to have Japanese food in Goa. I so wish I could click the entrance as it was a pleasant experience to enter this place. It felt like I was in Japan while crossing on the small bridge type path way which was surrounded by small lake type on both the sides. It was pouring so had to simoly rush inside the place. The ambience was quite and calm. There was this lady who we assume to be the owner, she was kind and soft spoken and helped us what to order. And the way the food was served was perfect.Apart from Sushi and dim sims there was a min course as well which I giess I didn’t click as was so busy munching these yummies.
