This place is located in the heart of the city margao. The food they serve is average and pocket friendly. The butter chicken they serve is great a must try.
The best thing to try here is butter chicken with rotis. It is the best here I think. About the ambience, it’s not amazing but good enough. At peak hour, 1:30 2:30, the place is crowded but you can still find a seat. The rates are also reasonable.
Very nice cool place. But they have changed the menu rates. Zomato shows 40rs per pint beer but actually it’s 55rs. Hope it will be corrected soon. Anyways this place is beautiful
Fortunately, this Restaurant so far has been off the Tourist map, so is spared of the hype, associated rush and resulting degradation in quality.But Locals who are familiar with it and some visitors like me who know this secret place will vouch for the taste and worth of this eatery. Don’t associate this restaurant with fancy words like ambience service, courtesy etc. Just go with the intention of having a basic fulfilling Goan Fish Thali and accompanying side dishes. The food is fresh, Bar is attached too, So sip a beer and order a plate of Shinanyo Fry which I feel is the specialty of the house- fresh Mussels Deep fried in Rava, The Thali is standard, and minimalistic, A bowl of Rice, Hooman(Fish Curry) some vegetable , a little dry fish chutney ,solkadi and a pretty large piece of fried Fish, repeat requests for side dishes are fulfilled but not very welcome. The AC section has a long serving waiter with whom I have a personal rapport so have no problem of communication. Ask for special fish fry ……Chinese and other fare is just added as compliance, suggest don’t try it Overall Nothing to be disappointed – A value for Money Experience for people who want to eat for hunger and not for fashion.
Food is quite good, fish thali and prawn biryani are awesome here.2.5 is completely for food and ambience.The waiter here was too rough and rude as well, I was taken aback when we asked the waiter to serve the beer right after the food and the waiter got the beer immediately. When reminded him about his folly, he got angry and stated that there are three cooks and one waiter, how was he supposed to know when the food would be ready. Quite unpleasant as the waiters are the functional link between the customers and the kitchen staff. Didn’t forget to tip him though even after he being rude.People might think I am cynical with my ratings towards Goan Restos but food is not the only thing which should be rated, the all round experience is rated.
