One of d best Hotels in South-Goa. The Bar-tender cum Care-taker – Aayaz and the General manager – John are very friendly same goes with their staff as well just too friendly+caring and knows how to treat their Customers. They Have a Restaurant with a sea view serving All types of Alcohols, beverages with some yummy – tasty Goan food. They do serve other types of foods as well. Fish is something depends upon availability. They do have Shacks available as well with some soothing music. Don’t miss the sunset, one off d best places to experience Sunset. with not much a disturbance around. Never got a chance to stay but difently looking forward to do so with my next visit.
Went there last year in October. It had such an awesome view of sea infarct it’s on Colva beach. The food was awesome. Ordered beef chilly, surmai fish sizzler and drinks. It has a book shelf incase you love reading. At that time the food shacks were getting set up on the beach. However, this is a permanent shack on the beach. They have their jeep to pick and drop you to the Colva beach enterance incase you don’t want to walk on the beach sand. I would suggest to go via the walk as you come across alot of star fish on the sand incase you are a nature lover.
We had some great time at Croque. This time we were looking for a calm and quiet place somewhere in South Goa with a good food option nearby. Crouqe has been referred by one of my friends and it was a great trip altogether. Mostly foreigners, and little isolated from the Colva square crowd. They do serve some magnificent food recipes, which is tempting for any foodie. Pan fried chicken noodles, American Breakfast and their Goan fish delicacies were really worth trying.
C’roque is the best kept secret. I have been here more than once. It is a good walk from Colva Circle, about 20 minutes for a slow walker like me. But you can walk through the water at a leisurely pace, enjoying the expanse of the sea.Set right on the beach, this place is isolated. There is nothing adjoining it as far as the eye can see in both directions. The beach here seems different and more wild or rustic, somehow. There are plenty of cabanas that can be rented and most tables face the sea. There is a 180 degree view of sand, sea, sky and the wide horizon. Great cocktails are the beginning. I tried a really good and generous pina colada. Beer is of course always a good choice. Catch of the day offers a wide choice for sea food lovers, and it can be grilled or fried. Folks with me tried the bangda with rechado and pomfret, I think. They have all types of Goan curries, notable among them the Shark Ambotik which was pronounced good.Veggie Caldin curry is my top pick here. Other Chinese dishes like spring rolls and noodles are also good. Top points for ambience, drinks And food. A rare feat!!!
