I celebrated my 21st birthday at Durigo in may and it was an amazing experience. The ambience is lovely and with d deco done fr my birthday the place just came to life. The ancestral house infornt of the restaurant just enhanced the whole look and glam. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. The food was outstanding, and the winner was the Chicken cafreal dry accompanied by d beef xacuti. I had a crowd of 150 who were comfortablly accommodated and had a grt time. I have also been to recently and dey hv refurbished the place and you shld definitely visit the place at night fr some wine and dine. The lighting and the paintings and d new set up just adds to its upgraded beauty. A highly recommended go to place to enjoy some delicious authentic goan food with a cozy just like home feeling.♥️
Sorpatel,sanna,pork bone curry i could go on and on, best goan food in south Goa. Very pleasant ambience away from the noise of the crowned beach street of colva. I will surely recommened this restaurant to all my friends back home.
I ordered for Sausage pulav from Durigo’s but taste was not that good what I had previously out there .The one which I ordered was so Dry I could not eat it .Dose the quality drops when u oder from online app?
Ordered 2 plates of Plain Rice, Chicken Xacuti, Pork Sorpotel and Chicken Fried Rice.The Rice plates had the max quantity, followed by Chicken Xacuti, Sorpotel and then Chicken Fried Rice.The Fried Rice had 5-6 pieces of shredded chicken. It was more like egg rice, nonetheless, it had some kind of flavor which was edible enough.The Sorpotel was the tastiest, gravy was thick and well made, unfortunately, it was 90% liver pieces and 10% other organ pieces.The Rice was saltless, though the gravies made up for the lack in salt, nonetheless it was a base for 2 gravies, so no comments.The Chicken Xacuti, unexpectedly was the worst of them all. There was 4 good pieces (chunks) of chicken, but the gravy was just bland. Tasteless and without aroma, it was like partially raw coconut paste that didn’t even go with its own recipe.I was given high opinions of this place by multiple people, but I guess, people don’t know good taste, and for ₹750/- I don’t expect the world, but I expect a decent meal.I guess, there might have been a mishap in today’s menu, because if there are minimum 5 people saying it’s good, then maybe it’s my bad luck that I had an unlucky day. Nonetheless, first impression counts.
Nice ambience and friendly staff. Food is delicious however the portion size is fairly less for the price. Highly recommended items such as kingfisher and bombil masala fry. All together a great venue with family.
