Location on Google maps is wrong, once you find the place it’s a very pretty patio beautiful decorated. The owner is there to welcome and see you off.On food front not so great Portion size is a bit SMALL (see pics these were the large size, so don’t order small portions) . Very personal attention by the owner.We had the verdverd soup, meat lasagna and gnocchi with gorgonzola.Soup was nice like a bowl of watery pesto, the server said it was a creamy soup with vegetable paste but I guess it was a translation error it’s a soup of mashed basil with cream.Lasagna was very salty but the tasty . And the gnocchi had very little salt. The gorgonzola (a strong smelling blue cheese) was also going a bit rancid, perhaps their refrigerator was not working as the Beers were slightly cooler than room temperature.We went due to very good reviews but I realized that is because the owner is sweet and welcoming, give that only 2 table we’re occupied at 9 on Saturday should have given us a hint that not many people ever go back and perhaps standards have slipped.
Today was our great food day with best Italian scrumptious lunch at Eccola. We had a veg and non veg pizza and the signature dish of gnocchi made with love by the owner chef.. she even shared the recipe with me.. to sum it all we had tiramisu and Italian cake(flourless almond cake).. both so delicious that i felt like kissing the chef’s hand.. totally recommended..
We had the best lunch at Eccola italian ..fell in love with the chef..she was so nice and loving. she served us food made with lots of love. her suggestions were amazing (Zuchini Spaghetti and Yummy pizzas). our last day in Goa became memorable and divine after having the mind blowing desserts (freshly made mousse and mouth melting merangue).
Delicious food,cozy atmosphere and the sweetest chef ever!Must try the lasagna and the chocolate mousse(was heavenly).Would definitely go back for more!
Very cosy s outlet to enjoy the Italian food craving in the streets of benaulim.The place is runned by the Italian lady who herself looks after the show.The menu is authentic and the waiter helps in selecting the dishes according to the preference of the guests.We order one pizza and pasta as suggested.CACCIATORA PASTASUPERSORRENTO PIZZATIRAMISUBoth were good in taste and the pizza was definitely better and was liked by us.If in and around this area one must give this olace a try.
A must visit !!! Authentic Italian cuisine. We ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro, Meat Lasagna and Chicken Pizza and were very satisfied with the subtle gustoso italiano flavours. Thin crust pizza and freshly made pasta. Truly scrumdiddlyumptious
