Average Restaurant. Food and service is fine. Overall felt the ambiance was considered to be classy however the look and feel was mediocre. We had some Chinese food since the place lacks local varieties. An ok place to eat if your not looking for local flavours.
Poor service, good food. There was supposed to be a chef special available till the restaurant closing of bbq chicken with butter rice, veggies and jacket potatoes, and guess what the table next door waited for an hour for theirs and got it cold. For a break we ordered a dal fry, blend I masala and butter chicken with rotis. The dal fry came im the start with nothing else due to poor service and by the time the other items came the dal was cold. Luckily the food was nice to make up for the loss.
Damn the food is awesome!! All I want to say is that the taste is just perfect of each and everything we had ! No matter if it was breakfast , lunch or dinner !
This is my third stay at royal palms but never went to the inhouse restaurant. Today just dropped by for a coffee and wedges . But was pleasantly surprised to see the ambience its quite different for the kind of ambience other restaurants have around. Guests have the option of sitting bith inside and out. The inside has a typical shamiana type feel and outside has a very rustic feel. The food wise wedges were crisp and nice not too much oil drenching. The pot of coffee was good too. Would like to explore the buffet . May be a night before i leave.
This Benaulim restaurant is located in the Royal Palm resorts but is not a part of resort,it’s management also remains different but it compensates for the absence of an in house restaurant.AMBIENCE – It seems to be a nice restaurant in compared to few in the neighbourhood, it provides both indoor and outdoor seating.FOOD – The food was a bit downside.For a vegetarian it had very limited options but had a variety for Goan cuisine.Had a veg. pizza which was okayish seemed like a home cooked pizza with a lot of cheese ,also the size was small compared to the price.The Dal Makhani was not up to the mark, had unnecessary garlic which did not compliment its smokey flavour.Also the staff we’re considerate but took quite a lot of time to serve the order, and the high price cannot justify their offering.There are a lot of good shacks on the beach shores which provides an excellent view and are wallet friendly.There seems to be no reason you should visit the place unless you are in the resort.
We had the opportunity of dining in The Benaulim during our stay at Royal Palms. It serves fantastic food of all cuisines. We tried Goan, Chinese and Indian as well. The food was very well prepared and less greasy. Chicken Cafreal in particular was simply lip smacking.
In-house restaurant of royal palm beach hotel,we tried few room orders and food was good including the dosas fried rice ,dining we ordered nan ,bindi baaji ,pork vindaloo which was gr8 for beverages tried out caju fenny and mango cream lemon which was strange combination which was good
