Had a terrible experience when wanting to use their washroom. They don’t let you wear your footwear to the washroom nor they do provide one. Only option is to walk barefoot which is ridiculous !!!

Somewhere in January 2019 we happened to visit Mandrem beach. Most of the restaurants had the same look, except Lazydog Lounge. Lazydog stands out from its competitors because of its elegant white structure. Though we didn’t visit Lazydog then, because we already enjoyed sunset elsewhere. We knew we would be coming again specially for lazydog. Three months later when we visited Mandrem beach again, we dropped by Lazydog lounge. Now lazydog is a restaurant of “Beach street resort.” The staff wear a nice white uniform just like the ship captains. To use the swimming pool the per head bill should be a minimum of ₹350/-. We ordered pasta, spring rolls and hot chocolate. The bill was anyway above 350 per person. We then went to swim into their beautiful little pool. The changing rooms are fancy and privacy is respected. We had the entire pool to ourselves. We had a great time chilling in the pool and enjoying the beautiful sunset by the beach. We left the pool at about 7:30pm. However the staff is serious about following pool rules ie, no wearing footwear around the pool and taking a shower before getting into the pool thus maintaining hygiene. Overall it’s a peaceful place to enjoy sunset .

Really nice restaurant on Mandrem beach we stumbled upon by chance. We had the watermelon feta salad which was stellar! Probably the best in Goa, came with aragula, tangy dressing and chopped nuts, a generous portion. The hummus platter was also nice and they have a well-stocked bar. Cute little outdoor restaurant. Also love the sailor uniforms the staff was wearing, so so smart.

The place is beautiful, right on the beach, open and spacious. It also has a pool next door as part of the resort. The food was pretty average. We found the chicken wings rather small and expensive. The mousaka was quite nice. The watermelon and feta salad was a play on the tongue. Ice cream is also another expensive item on the menu. Service is quick and easy.

The beach is pristine and clean. But the service is most horrendous. We ordered fish and fries and waited for 2 hours before we were told that the waiter had gone to take a rest! Have never heard or seen this level of poor service.

This place is a bliss in otherwise average food scene of Goa. The place is located at serene Mandrem beach and is a part of beach street resort. They have a pool around the dining area which gives a good refreshing feel to the whole dining thing. You can use the pool for the cover charge of 350/-. Now coming to food, I am an old fan of food of Lazy Dog from Old Manali and had tried most of the dishes in the menu. This time I had Hummus with Pita, Spring Rolls, Virgin Mojito, Blue heaven, Pina Colada, Palak Paneer, Tandoori Roti. Hummus with Pita – The bread was thicker then usually what we get in Delhi. Hummus was tasty and the texture was good. It was served with sautéed vegetables and olives. Spring Rolls – Good but I would have liked it with less oil. Palak Paneer- The flavour was good but the salt was less. But I liked the generous quantity of Paneer. Blue heaven – Wife liked it. So it must be good ;)Virgin Mojito – Pefectly made. Pina Colada – It was good. Right mix of pineapple and coconut flavour. Neither of them were overpowering each other. Special mention to their staff member Anup, who served us well and kept with out non stop requests regarding pool usage and food.

Perhaps a little too expensive but the ambience is superb! We were guests at the hotel attached to the restaurant and got complementary breakfasts everyday for five days! The omelettes and coffees are spectacular, especially their cafe latte. Plus they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and I suggest sitting on one of the deck chairs or pagodas near the restaurant and sipping a lemon iced tea or a beer. Their staff is so welcoming. They also have pool-side service and easy access to the beach. They even offer service on the beach! Their chicken tikka is very tasty as is their red snapper and pastas. They also make decent avocado salads. We also ordered some Thai food and noodles and the quantity was enough for two people easily. So overall,Value for money: 4/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Quality of food: 5/5
